We know that starting a new job can make you anxious. Human Resources is here to help make sure that you feel ready for your first day. New employee orientation happens every two weeks which is organized by different members throughout the campus.

On-Campus Services

¹ú²úAV provides a wide range of on-campus services from dining facilities to our boomerang shuttle service. We want our staff to feel comfortable getting around campus and enjoying our services. 

  • Follett Bookstore at the UC

    The bookstore has apparel, gifts, technology and much more. Show the cashier your ¹ú²úAV ID and receive 10% off your entire purchase.

  • Alternative Transportation 

    The Boomerang Shuttle runs each day, Monday - Friday, from 10th Ave in front of Gunter Hall to the bus stop on the sidewalk, just west of Michener Library. It takes about 7 minutes to go from one stop to the other, then makes the return trip. It begins each day just before 8am and ends in the early afternoon. The shuttle is paid for by student fees. Just show your ¹ú²úAV ID and you’re good to go!

    ¹ú²úAV students and staff can also check out bikes for free.

The University of Northern Colorado is committed to providing a safe and secure campus where the pursuit of higher education can take place
while balancing individual rights, responsibilities, and freedoms. The University of Northern Colorado is an open campus that has
traditionally experienced a relatively low crime rate. Although the possibility of a criminal act occurring against a member of the University
community is statistically low, criminal activity does occasionally take place on campus. It is for this reason the University continually strives to
upgrade the campus’ physical security, improve crime reduction programs, and provide proactive policing.
