¹ú²úAV Theatre Education and Theatre Studies student, Evette Srouji, is dynamic to say the least. Having served on student advisory boards, a student group dedicated to promoting diversity and equity on and off stage, among others, she is dedicated to trailblazing for the next generation of ¹ú²úAV students. This summer, she became the first ¹ú²úAV student to be selected as the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Theatre Management intern.

The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO) has enthusiastically welcomed Lowell Graham, DMA, a 1970 and 1971 University of Northern Colorado alumnus and Greeley native, as its new music director. Learn more about Graham and get a preview of what’s coming up for the GPO for the 2021-2022 season.

¹ú²úAV Arts Alumna Jessica Forrestal '14 is making her mark on the brand new Campus Commons Gallery as the inaugural Artist in Residence. Learn more about her immersive installation "Constructs and Confines" which will be on display in the Commons until March 30, 2019.

¹ú²úAV theatre alumni Andre Rodriguez '09, '13 and Cashelle Butler '14 share their career insight and love of theatre and ¹ú²úAV with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Teen Company.

¹ú²úAV's Colorado School of Public Health alumna Rachel Freeman, MPH ’14, is making her mark in public health. She is part of a team that includes famed alumni artist Armando Silva BA '10, that has recently transformed the exterior wall of a vacant building in northern Colorado into a colorful statement of health advocacy.

Alison Vasquez's '09 return to campus this summer as a guest director for LTR turned out to pay forward and give back more than she ever expected. Back on campus directing the summer production of "Simply Simone," Vasquez says returning to ¹ú²úAV has been life-changing.

As students, ¹ú²úAV alumni Tom Cunniffe '89 and Eric Sherrow '86 recorded many of the university's annual jazz festival performances. These recordings are now available through the ¹ú²úAV Music Library.

Love for the game of tennis and the theatre, coupled with a desire to make a difference, led heart surgeon Dr. Ken Richards and wife Beth Richards to establish student scholarships funding their passions.
