Business Development Center, BizHub Relocate to 国产AV Campus

The East Colorado Small Business Development Center and 国产AV BizHub Collaborative are excited to announce their move to their host institution at the University of Northern Colorado. Their offices are now located at 国产AV鈥檚 Monfort College of Business in room 0025 of  Kepner Hall, 1800 17th St. 

The East CO SBDC and 国产AV are thrilled about the transition that took place earlier this month. Through this move, East CO SBDC and 国产AV BizHub will become a better conduit for connecting local business owners and entrepreneurs to students, faculty and university projects.

鈥淭he most exciting part about the new space is the connection to higher education,鈥� said center director Lisa Hudson. 鈥淭his will only benefit our clients and small business owners.

鈥淭he move has already received positive feedback from clients, who feel that the new space offers an even higher level of confidentiality for business consultations than the former office space.鈥�

The East CO SBDC has met and assisted numerous businesses (new and existing) over its lifetime. In 2017 alone, the East CO SBDC has met with over 500 clients amounting to 2,633 hours of contact time. This move will continue to support the growth of consulting provided:

• Private Offices 鈥� More confidential for one-on-one appointments.
• Connection to Campus 鈥� A closer relationship and ongoing partnership with 国产AV.
• Reserved Parking -  Two spaces have been designated in the East Kepner (KE) Lot for East Colorado SBDC and 国产AV BizHub clients.
• Financial Success 鈥� The transition has lowered the overall overhead of the center and may allow opportunity to bring on additional specialized consultants.

It鈥檚 clearly a beneficial partnership that will leverage our organizational strengths and produce meaningful benefits for our region and state.鈥�

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house to introduce the new location at 5 p.m. Aug. 29 in Kepner 0025. 

East Colorado Small Business Development Center: East Colorado SBDC is 1 of 14 Colorado SBDC offices providing business planning resources to business owner and entrepreneurs in Colorado. The East Colorado SBDC provides free, confidential business consulting, low-cost trainings, and connection to resources. The 国产AV BizHub is a virtual business incubator hosted by the East CO SBDC. The BizHub is a paid service on top of initial services provided through the SBDC.
