Aims2¹ú²úAV Program Kicking Off this Fall

Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado will unveil a joint-program initiative, Aims2¹ú²úAV, at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at the , north of the Cornerstone Building (5401 W. 20th Street in Greeley). CEO/President of Aims Community College Leah L. Bornstein, Ph.D., and ¹ú²úAV President Andy Feinstein, Ph.D., will be featured speakers. They will kick off the two institutions’ partnership, as a response to Colorado’s statewide goal calling for 66% of residents to earn a college credential by 2025.

Aims2¹ú²úAV, which begins this fall, will streamline and simplify the path for students to transition directly to ¹ú²úAV after earning an associate’s at Aims. Enhanced support will be provided by an Aims2¹ú²úAV transition advisor assigned to each student enrolled in the new program. These advisors help Aims students prepare for admission to ¹ú²úAV as students navigate specific program requirements.

The Aims2¹ú²úAV program development has spanned several months of collaboration by administrators, staff and faculty at both institutions. Fall 2019 marks the inaugural cohort of students in the Aims2¹ú²úAV program, which is set to expand in Fall 2020.
